• Before & After

Approximately six weeks before your wedding date you will be given a special consultation where we will look at hairstyles suitable for the theme of the wedding - taking into account your hair type and length. I will also advise on make-up to enhance your skin and blend with your proposed colour scheme, chosen fabrics and accessories.

The wedding trial is a relaxed affair which lasts about two hours. During that time you will be given the opportunity for a cup of tea, a chat about what you want and a browse through my portfolio of work. (Where you'll find masses of ideas if you still have decisions to make). Then, we will try out the different styles of hair and make-up until you are completely happy with your 'look'.

This step-by-step consultation will take place in front of a mirror so you're in charge at all times. And, with Ab Fab Brides there's more.... When we've achieved the look you want, I will photograph it - so we both have a record of how stunning you're going to look on the day.

Bridesmaids, Attendants, Mother of the Bride
& Relatives

Many of our brides want to bring one or more of their bridesmaids, attendants, their Mum or other family members to the consultation. (Even husbands-to-be have been known to attend on occasions).

This needs to be established at the time of booking and the same principles apply as for consultations with the bride. Most importantly, please remember that each person takes time to consult and the bride required at least two hours attention for the best results.

The Wedding Day

Whether it's a simple affair or a swinging society wedding, Ab Fab Brides will turn up on time, blend in with the surroundings, bring calm and friendliness to the proceedings, then fade into the background as the bride and her entourage take centre stage.

For especially large events, and weddings with more complex requirements we have a hand picked team of skilled professionals to call upon.

All we ask is that the bride and anyone booked for make-up and hair is ready and waiting at our agreed time of arrival.
